Chih-Wei G.V. Chang is a registered landscape architect from California and founder of Gravity Praxis, a research initiative for environmental solution and urban strategies. Mr. Chang served as Co-Chair of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) International Practice Professional Network 2015-2017, facilitating knowledge exchange and international collaborations. He is a member of Environmental Water Resource Institute (EWRI) at American Society of Civil Engineers, and his practices have been focusing on high performance landscape in the urban environmental challenges. He has built projects in United States, China, UAE, Japan and Indonesia. Several of his projects were recognized by ASLA professional awards. Mr. Chang leads an urban watershed design studio locally at San Francisco’s Academy of Art University (AAU), and an active member of International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA).

Chih-Wei G.V. Chang has 12 years of experience working internationally as a landscape architect and environmental consultant. His practices have been focusing on high performative landscape in the urban environment. He has built projects in United States, China, UAE, Japan and Indonesia. Several of his projects were recognized by American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Awards and by International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA).

Mr. Chang was trained as an architect and licensed as a landscape architect in California. He served as Co-Chair at ASLA's International Practice Professional Network from 2015 to 2017. He is a member of Environmental Water Resource Institute (EWRI) at American Society of Civil Engineers, and an accredited professional of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED-AP). Mr. Chang received Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Harvard University (MLA '07), and led an urban watershed design studio at San Francisco’s Academy of Art University.
